Welcome Walk Information - We are so excited to welcome you into the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you've had a wonderful summer break and are ready to be back in our halls. We sure do miss you!

The Welcome Walk is a special tradition that our students in 1st-5th grade and staff look forward to each year. During this event, your child’s teacher will schedule a short visit to your home to greet your family and kick off the new school year! This visit lasts no longer than 5 minutes. Teachers will not enter the home. Just enough for an introduction and to kick up the excitement for the upcoming year for your Texan. The Welcome Walk is August 11 from 4-7 pm for grades 1-5.

Please fill out the form below for each student in your household. This helps us ensure that teachers know if you do or do not want a home visit.

Note: Welcome Walks are for zoned students only. Families of transfer students will receive a phone call from the teacher instead.

Round Rock ISD students will need to take home their district-issued Chromebook over the summer. All students’ Classlink and Google accounts will remain available over the summer break.
If you are a graduating senior, please return your device and charger to your school’s ITS before graduation.
Students participating in the district-provided summer learning programs will need to bring their Chromebooks with them each day.
